Find some peace and quiet at Battery Park one of the best places to relax and take in the endless activity of Newport Harbor. Park benches, a grassy lawn and the Goat Island Causeway beckon. If walking trails are more your style, visit Sachuest Point Wildlife National Refuge where panoramic views of Rhode Island Sound will satisfy your salt air cravings.
LOVE
For such a small island Newport packs quite a punch. You'll love Easton's Beach with it's hands-on-kids aquarium, a 1950's carousel, twin lobster rolls and of course a quintessential crescent beach. Later, bask in a stunning sunset overlooking Newport Harbor at The Pineapple Club. Kids can roast s'mores over a fire pit while adults enjoy adult-like things :)
